Vaccination against COVID-19

Repeat vaccination

Repeat vaccination helps prevent spread of coronavirus. Coronavirus spreads more easily in autumn and winter. The more people who get a repeat vaccination, the slower the virus will spread.

When can I get the repeat vaccination?

Currently everyone from age 12 and older can have the repeat vaccination. Waiting for the invitation letter is not needed, you can make your appointment or visit one of the walk-in locations.

Do you want to know more? See the FAQ about the repeat vaccination on the website of RIVM.

We offer walk-in vaccinations at all our locations. Ukrainian refugees are welcome too.

Do you prefer to make an appointment?
Go to Planjeprik.nl or call 0800-7070, daily from 08.00 till 20.00. Appointments for a first or second vaccination can only be made by telephone.

Why a vaccination?

Vaccination can help prevent the spread of coronavirus. The vaccination also protects the people around you. If you have been vaccinated, you can still become infected, but it is less likely that you will be contagious. You have a lower risk of being contagious than if you had not been vaccinated.

The safety of the COVID-19 vaccines is assessed by the European Medicines Agency (EMA), and in the Netherlands also by the Medicines Evaluation Board (CBG-MEB). Even after vaccines are approved, they are monitored. More information about vaccine safety is available on Government.nl.
